As of Sept. 12, dealers have their own office in Volusia County! All dealer tag & title transactions are now processed in the new South Daytona dealer service office, 2400 S. Ridgewood Avenue. Dealers may drop off work or walk it through at this location, which has staff dedicated to dealer work. Work also may be dropped off/picked up at any other Volusia County Tax Collector location for processing in the South Daytona office.
The dealers-only office is inside the Sunshine Mall, 2400 S. Ridgewood Ave., South Daytona. The dealers-only office is next to our public office that provides driver licenses, tags and titles. Hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note: No walk-through title transactions may be signed in after 4 p.m.
Coming soon! No need to wait in line or call for the status of your work. If you drop your work at the South Daytona office or another branch, you will receive updates by text or email to provide the status of your work. This includes when the work is received in the South Daytona office, when a clerk begins processing your job, and when your work is ready for pick-up. Work dropped off at other locations will be taken to the South Daytona office for processing, so please build this additional transit time into your plans.
Save time and streamline the process by using State-approved electronic filing systems (EFS). The vendors approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles system provide users access to vehicle registration and title information. This allows dealers to process title and registration applications and issue the plate and registration at the time of sale.
